Climate
In Mauritius, the climate
is fairly acceptable to everyone and the heat is never
unbearable. Citizens enjoy good year-round weather.
The temperature varies between Summer (November to April)
from 32 Degrees Celsius (approx 90 Degrees Fahrenheit)
on the coastal areas, to 24 Degrees Celsius (approx
75 Degrees Fahrenheit) on the Central Plateau. In Winter
(May to October) the temperature may vary from 22 Degrees
Celsius (approx 71 Degrees Fahrenheit) in coastal areas,
to 18 Degrees Celsius (approx 64 Degrees Fahrenheit)
on the Central Plateau.
What to wear in the
summer
Take light clothes, beach and casual wear for summer.
What to wear
in the winter
Months of June, July, August and September carry
some light woollens for the cool evenings.
